Is there an adapter that will hook up a pci express video card to a pci slot?

I bought a PCI Express x16 video (graphics) card for my emachine T2042, which has been updated or 1g ddr. Lower and see, I need a PCI card.

your BIOS has set your graphics to PCIe ... it's a BIOS ... it's not like they have GB of storage to industry with ... so they leave off the "e" ... if it's working .... furlough it alone before you break it

Not every BIOS is the same. They set up severe changes in navigation sometimes, just between revisions of the same BIOS.

is it worth upgrading from a X1650 PCI express video card to something like a GT 220?

have a windows vista E6600 dual core computer with x1650 video card ( PCI-e).
was thoughtful of getting a GT 220 or something similar that would run on my 300 watt power supply....
is it significance upgrading? anyone have a better video

Put it this way, there is no reference or game you will be able to run with the GT 220, that you can't run with the X1650.

As for performance between the two in a given application or game, while the GT220 as a much greater Thought clock

Uh, did you capacitate the PCI-E port in the BIOS?? It has integrated graphics and won't work until that is disable and the otherone damaged.
Gateways is one of the most non-compatible brands made, but if it has a slot in there it should work.
