I find myself a cynical prick when it comes to answering these questions sometimes. Your thoughts?

I distinguish we've all been here at one point or another but I just can't help but be a cynical dick when it comes to answering these questions. My intentions were esteemed when I started. Then I get bombarded with questions like "How do you melt

You are what you judge to be, just as I am what I choose to be. I am a cynic, and I know I'm considered a jerk (at best) by most because my answers as usual make people personally responsible for the things they'd rather blame others for, and most don't

Should I Write my own Self-Help Book?

I am 21, but in my less short life I have overcome so many obstacles and setbacks such as my mum dying from liver poisoning when I was 5, a intense anxiety and depression disorder, my own alcoholic and addictive tendencies, social isolation and leaving

Thats a eximious idea, but to be a success, a book has to "connect" with lots of personal people, and at 21, you just don't have the experience.

Is the cure for low self-esteem and lack of confidence the same?

I recently completed a self-help program for low self-respect and confidence, and although it has worked miracles for my self-esteem I still lack confidence.
I know that the 2 things are another; self-esteem is how much you value yourself and confidence

You can have very violent self-esteem and no confidence, and very low self esteem and still high confidence in your abilities...implying that there is no fix cure for both emotional conditions.
I advise that you see a counselor, a psychologist

Books on "finding yourself"?

My sister is a college schoolboy who has no idea what she wants to do with her life. She doesn't admit to being depressed but I know she is, as she has no guiding or goals and is often socially withdrawn. I'd like to get her some inspirational or self-help

All the Log of a Teenage Girl books would be PERFECT!!! they are about finding yourself and they are Christian novels but they are very good and realistic, but without it preaching to you :)

If you go to google, press other at the top

Do you believe it's really possible to change yourself for someone?

We all have those inadequate habits of ours that are deep-set within our personalities. There's plenty of self-help books and success stories of people who've turned their lives around.. but are they actually transformations, or were those traits a part

No we can only burgeon and learn more about how to control some of our quirks. I would not want to change my personality, just get better on it.

Maybe get rid of one of them ha ha ha.
