My children are in their 30s now, but I still lean to the need to be available and accessible to them if they need me. Mom I'll always and forever.

My daughter is 42 - only a sprog. She left home long ago. I am a mom yet, but it's nice to see that the roles have become interchangeable.

Do you think parents of adult children have selective memory?

I am constantly seeing questions and editorials from parents of adult children. Most of them start with "What is out of sync a go astray with parents these days?". Most of them end with "I never allowed my children to do that." or

Unquestionably, I'm trying to forget the things I wish I hadn't done or failed to do with my grown kids.

As for why they do this, there's All or Nothing idea.
